As many of you know, South By Southwest (SXSW) is coming to Austin, Texas in March. The three distinct categories of SXSW (SXSW Interactive, SXSW Film, and SXSW Music) begin on March 11th and will be going strong until March 20th.
SXSW: An International Event
People come from all over the world to attend this event. According to Adriene Hill’s March 2015 article “SXSW by the Numbers” in the Interactive portion alone, over 32,000 people from 82 different countries attended in 2014, and the numbers grow each year. That’s an astounding number of folks! We hope that everyone who comes to Austin for SXSW has a wonderful, safe, and healthy experience during their stay. But with that many people in close proximity of each other daily, illness or injury might occur, and immediate help is needed in a lot of varying forms.
Aero Jet Medical Air Ambulance Service
Here at Aero Jet Medical, we are prepared 24/7 to swiftly respond to any emergency, domestically and internationally as well. We are located in Georgetown, Texas, right at the back door of SXSW. Domestically, we provide air ambulance service to all 50 states and U.S. territories. Internationally, from Austria to Zambia and everywhere in between, Aero Jet provides all-inclusive air ambulance transport services. We arrange air medical flight service, ground transportation to and from the aircraft, and customs and immigration services. We remove the burden of a family member having to figure out who must be called and how to get arrangements set up to get help. We utilize fully certified and top-rated commercial air carriers and quality flight crews.
We can provide specialty care to burn victims (including pediatric), and cardiac and stroke patients, just to name a few. We will work with insurance providers to manage the insurance approval process, and will handle all pre-authorization needs. In an emergency situation, this kind of help is priceless.
We’re Here When You Need Us
As stated, our hope is that all of those that come from all over the world to SXSW have a great time, without any illness or injury event. But, if an emergency were to occur, we can provide the peace of mind to the patient and his/her family, and get the patient to where they need to be quickly and with the highest level of care.
